HUD Overview

The HUD is the first page you will see when logging into the Axion Customer Portal.  Here you can communicate with team members via one to one chat or group chats, view live call information, access voicemails, share files, and more.

Communications Tabs

The center section of your HUD contains several tabs that allow you to communicate in and outside of your enterprise

View your coworkers contact information and create new contacts for yourself.  

Phone phone.svg

Similar to SIPTapi or Click2Dial features that can integrate to PBX systems, this tab allows you to control calls on your Axion desk phone from the web.  Make new calls, end calls, hold, park, and transfer current calls through this module.

Chat comments.svg

Use instant messaging to communicate with coworkers who also have a user on the Axion portal.  Send text, images, files, audio snippets, and emoji in either one to one chats or in a group chats.

SMS/MMS Messaging envelope.svg

Use your business number with Axion to send SMS or MMS messages to your clientele.  Send text, images, files, audio snippets, and emoji in either one to one messages or in a group messages.

Speed Dialer tachometer-alt.svg

Have a large list of numbers you need to call?  Upload a .csv file to quickly dial numbers, takes notes about each call, and move to the next number on your list in sequence.

File Transfer file-transfer.png

Share file in and outside of your enterprise.  Upload files and create links for others to download.  Create a password protected file for sensitive information or set a download limit for special offers.

Voicemail voicemail-solid.svg

View your extension(s) voicemails through the web.  Play messages in the portal or download the audio file to your computer.  Transcriptions can be read and downloaded as well.  You can even share messages by emailing them directly from the portal.

Status and Rosters

The left portion of the HUD contains both your user's Status section and the Contacts Rosters.  Here you can see calls currently ringing or connected to your extension, your status in the HUD, and lists of Users (Coworkers and Favorites), SMS history, Chat Groups, and Contacts (Shared and Private).

Status

This section shows your user and extension's current status'.  Call currently ringing and active answered calls will be displayed here with control options (hold ,transfer, park, etc.)

Contacts Rosters

View your contacts and communications channels quickly in this section. 

  • Coworkers - all users created in the Customer Portal under your enterprise account
  • Favorites - users you have selected as favorites
  • SMS - recent SMS history
  • Groups - Group chats in which you are a member
  • Shared - Contacts added by the Shared Contacts Admin, viewable by all users
  • Private - Contacts you have added to you account, not shared with other users

Widgets

The right most section of the HUD allows you to add widgets for quick shortcuts for communications and for viewing active call info.

  • Contacts - quick access to users status and communication modes
  • Parking Lot - live view of parking system
  • Queue Monitor - live view of queue callers
